At Safestyle Manufacturing and Logistics, we’re revelling in the fact we appear to be bucking the trend in the industry and the recession in general. It is excellent for everyone in the Safestyle business to see volumes increasing, and for that a big thanks to the Sales and Canvass teams from everyone at our manufacturing arm of the business.
One of the latest developments here at the Safestyle factory is that composite doors manufacturing will shortly become a reality in-house, which will give us another weapon in our arsenal in the competitive world of double glazing sales.
Throughout the peak holiday season we will be concentrating on maintaining our quality and delivery performance. We are confident with the succession plan we have in place at Barnsley that if key managers and staff are on holiday there will be no affect on the service from us.
On the subject of machinery and manufacturing lines, we have our new door jig in production on the door line, and the benefits are two-fold. Process flow and cycle times are improved on residential doors and French doors, with the quality spin-off of perfectly square doors.
Finally, on the Safestyle Manufacturing Charity Club: a charity sky-dive has taken place in order to raise money for our four charities – Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, the RSPCA, NSPCC and Cancer Research UK. Look out for more details of that!
